Samual Schubert

Dr. Schubert is the head of Webster's International Relations program in Vienna and Co-editor of Webster's IR Working Paper Series. He researches on energy and political violence, particularly the geopolitics of energy, resource competition and international conflict, and the resource course. His scholarly work in the area is widely cited and he recently co-authored the first university textbook on EU energy politics. A published expert on terrorist tactics and profiling, he has worked for the UN, think tanks in Washington, and conducted studies for the European Parliament. Dr. Schubert lectures at multiple universities and research institutes and is an active member of the American Political Science Association.
