Graduate admissions requirements


The Admissions Department is your main point of contact from first email or phone call until you are officially admitted for studies at Webster. We welcome your questions!

At Webster University we have 5 start dates per academic year. Students may begin their studies in September, October, January, March or May.

Admission to MBA & MA programs is competitive, based upon evaluation of your educational and professional background. 

Admission is contingent upon submission of the following items:

  • A university, HBO, or equivalent diploma, work experience (MBA applicants only)
  • A completed application form and a non-refundable application fee of €40.00
  • Official transcript(s) and diploma(s) of your secondary and post-secondary education with certified English translations of all documents
  • A letter of your motivation for pursuing graduate studies at Webster University (maximum 500 words)
  • A résumé or curriculum vitae
  • TOEFL examination (required minimum of 575 points and further evaluation of written and spoken English language skills). The TOEFL examination can be taken at Webster sites by prior appointment. Click here for TOEFL request registration.
  • A copy of your passport and, if applicable, your Dutch Residence permit.

UPON REQUEST: Two letters of reference from instructors and/or employers

Applicants should have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better (on a 4.0-point scale) on all previous academic work.


NOTE:  Any documentation submitted to Webster University during the application process becomes sole property of Webster University and will not be returned to the student.Therefore, please do not submit original documentation, but certified copies of those original documents. In order to certify transcripts from an academic institution, please have the issuing institution or the country’s Ministry of Education officially stamp a copy of the document. Notary stamps are not acceptable. Please contact the admissions department for further instruction about certifying documents.


Admission Interview and Sample Classes
Candidates considering applying to Webster University are encouraged to schedule an intake interview with a representative from the Admissions Office. It is also recommended that prospective students attend a regularly scheduled class to speak with current students, meet a faculty member and gain first-hand experience in the Webster learning environment.
