Location...Leiden Leiden is an historic university town located close to Amsterdam, in The Netherlands. Being a two university town comprising of Webster and Leiden University, there are plenty of things to do and see. Historic architecture, cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, and museums attract thousands of visitors each year. Students living in Leiden feel safe and comfortable. Only thirty minutes by train to Amsterdam and ten from The Hague, Leiden is a convenient location for discovering the cultural and social action in the Netherlands!

Internationally recognized degree programs Webster University offers accredited American degrees, recognized by all major corporations, governmental organizations and academic institutions throughout the world. Recognized by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, Webster is in the process of accrediting all its programs in the Nteherlands. The International Business and Management Studies program (Bachelor) has already been accredited by the Netherlands Flemish Accreditation Agency (NVAO).

No other university offers you so many choices to gain an international perspective and prepare you for an international future. You can study abroad at any of Webster’s six international campuses: London, England; Vienna, Austria; Geneva, Switzerland; Leiden, The Netherlands, Shanghai, China; and Cha-am, Thailand. You may choose to spend a term, a semester or a year at one location, or transfer easily throughout the Webster network to study at as many campuses as you like. You can also take advantage of our exchange partnerships with universities in Japan and Mexico.

Webster World Traveler Program This program is available to all undergraduate and graduate degree-seeking students registered at selected Webster University campuses. The Webster-World Traveler Program awards one round-trip coach-class ticket to qualified students from the student's home campus to another eligible Webster international site. Students can transfer seamlessly within the global network so education plans don’t have to go on hold due to transfer, promotion, or change in address. In addition, Webster’s international campus network provides a rich international learning environment that gives our students a competitive edge to succeed in an ever-changing world.
Study in English A degree from an accredited American university is recognized throughout the world. Therefore, at Webster University we require that all classes and discourse be conducted in Academic English. Students will be tested for their proficiency in the English language during the admissions process.
Classroom and Online Options Another advantage you’ll experience at Webster is the opportunity to select from outstanding classroom and online offerings. Online courses adhere to the same high academic standards as our traditional classroom program. However, rather than attending class at a specific time one night a week or on weekends, the online program lets you pursue your degree anytime, any place.
In addition to saving commuting time, parking, and child care, the online format lets you complete weekly assignments and projects at your own pace during the week. You can log on anytime to accommodate your own lifestyle. There is no worry about being able to complete your degree if you move or are transferred. The online program is available wherever you go!
Online learning is not just about flexibility. In today's global environment being able to communicate effectively on-line and feeling comfortable and secure doing it is a key skill to have. Taking courses online gives you additional course options to choose from and it also allows you to gain the special communication skills needed in today's world (via this valuable medium).
Small Classes One of the things students like most about Webster is the personal attention they receive. The average class size is 15-20 students. This means there’s plenty of room for dialogue and interaction. Serving the Needs of Working Adults Webster offers five convenient terms (or start dates) per year. Our graduate programs provide career-minded adults with knowledge and skills to advance their careers, enhance their professional development, or embark on a whole new career direction. Webster University was founded to serve the needs of working adults: part-time (evening) students. We know and accept that to these adult students, their academic study usually ranks behind family and work obligations. We therefore try to have maximum flexibility by offering classes in standard, weekend, off-site and online format. You will learn in a supportive environment that offers personal attention, a lively exchange of ideas, and the chance to network with professionals in many fields.
Flexible Academic Format Webster offers five terms per year. Most undergraduate classes last eight weeks; graduate courses are nine weeks in duration. For graduate students classes meet one evening per week from 18.00 to 22.00 o'clock.
Academic Support - Academic advising with a personal touch Every student works closely with a student advisor who helps guide them through the program and keeps them on track for their targeted graduation date. Some students know exactly what field they want to pursue while others prefer to explore their options. At Webster, advisors help you plan the academic program that is best suited to advancing your personal and professional development.
