Interim Director Named at Geneva Campus

Will oversee operations this summer

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND (MAY 15, 2014) – Charles “Charlie” Beech, Webster University’s associate vice president for international recruitment, was named the interim director of Webster’s Geneva Campus. He will take over his new duties June 1 and will oversee day-to-day operations of the campus until the new director – Clementina Acedo - arrives in early August.

“Charlie is the ideal person to serve as interim director during this transition,” said Grant Chapman, associate vice president and director of international programs. “He has more than 35 years of experience at Webster University in a variety of leadership roles within Admissions and Enrollment Management, including having spent the past 14 years based in Geneva at Webster University.”

Beech currently serves in the student services area for Webster Geneva as well. Most recently, he worked on marketing and student recruitment at the Geneva campus. In 2011, he was awarded the CIS T. Michael Maybury Award at the Annual Forum on International Admissions and Guidance of the Council of International Schools for his years of work on improving recruitment for institutions of higher education.
