Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA)

In cooperation with Webster University Geneva and Grenoble Ecole de Management, Webster University Leiden offers a unique route to a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) program in English, designed for senior managers and executives. No other university in the Netherlands currently offers such a highly-ranked professional doctorate. Classes take place in Geneva and Grenoble.

Degree from a top international business school

The DBA degree is awarded by Grenoble Ecole de Management, one of the few leading business schools worldwide to have achieved the "Triple Crown" of business accreditations: AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA. The December 2006 issue of Financial Times ranked Grenoble 29 out of 55 best business schools in Europe.

European Webster alumni can work with local DBA supervisors from Leiden, London, Vienna and Geneva and with professors from Grenoble to achieve this prestigious professional doctorate. In order to qualify for participation in the Webster Geneva-Grenoble DBA program, applicants must possess an MA or MBA degree from Webster or another accredited university.

The DBA - Prestigious and practical

The DBA degree focuses on the application of theoretical knowledge to the advancement of management and business practice, rather than the advancement of academic knowledge for its own sake. It is increasingly recognized by international business and management schools as the most appropriate post-Master route to combining academic research on management and business with further personal and professional development.
