Term-time Opening hours:
Monday - Thursday: 9am - 8pm | Friday: 9am - 4:45pm
Sunday (term week 3 - week 7): 1pm - 5 pm
(Computing facilities are also available at the student lounge, and the media lab in room 1.)

We offer a collection of books, DVDs, as well as media equipment. In addition to this, the Webster Online Library offers a wealth of resources and special services to support your academic research and teaching. Our library databases offer electronic full-text articles from over 23.000 academic journals, newspapers and magazines, access to more than 19.000 classic and current electronic books and online reference sources. Library services include a document delivery service and an A-Z journal/newspaper/magazine list.

Black & white printing is free for Webster students and faculty, but we do encourage responsible printing. Color printing, DVDs, and media equipment are available from 9am - 1pm, & 2pm - 4:45pm during term time. Price is 0.30 euro cent per page for color-printing.

 


 

Webster Leiden students can also choose to join Leiden University Library, and get their membership reimbursed at the business office.

Bookstore

All Undergraduate students are required to purchase the required textbooks and other materials for their courses.Webster can order textbooks for Undergraduate students provided the student contacts Tanvir Hamid to place orders of the required book(s) a minimum of two weeks before the beginning of term. Payment will be necessary at the time of ordering.

If the student chooses, he/she can of course order their own copy of the required text books. Many books are also available electronically (e-book or Kindle Books). Tanvir will email a textbook list approximately 3 weeks before term with information about the required books. (This information is also available on the syllabus of each course which is posted on the syllabus section of our website.) Please make sure to check that the textbook ordered is the approved version, and the correct edition.

Remember it is the student's own responsibility to have the correct textbook(s) at the start of the course.

Writing and Research Support Center 

A FREE service for all Webster students and faculty. Learn how to:

  • Write a novel - Write poetry - Write English like a native speaker
  • Write and IMPROVE your academic essays, midterms, and final papers
  • Write the wrongs that keep getting circled in red - Write your heart out! 
  • Improve your GPA!

Open Mondays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.--in Room 4 during Fall 1 and in Room 2 during Fall 2.
