Assistant Facilities Manager 

Part-Time Position 
24 hours per week (spread over 3-4 days, including evenings) 

Webster Leiden Campus, an international campus of Webster University USA, an accredited, independent, nonprofit American university, is looking for a proactive, people-oriented and professional Assistant Facilities Manager who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and takes pride in keeping facilities running smoothly.

Requirements: 

- Minimumum of 1 year of experience in Facilities Management 
- Strong personal and communication skills 
- Fluent in Dutch and English 
- Lives in Leiden or in the area of Leiden 
- Able to maintain professional, approachable working relationships 
- Flexible and willing to work shifts that may extend to 22:30 (10:30) p.m. 
- Hands-on mentality with basic maintenance skills

Key Responsibilities: 

Serve as the main point of contact for all facility-related inquiries 
• Coordinate and liaise with external contractors and service providers 
• Perform and oversee repairs and maintenance activities 
• Assist with security procedures and first aid responsibilities 
• Support the planning and coordination/execution of events
