Tuition Rates
Webster University's tuition rates listed below are for the academic year indicated and are subject to change. Webster University's academic year begins with one eight-week Summer term. Webster has two 16-week semesters per year: Fall (includes the eight-week Fall 1 term and the eight-week Fall 2 terms) and Spring (includes the eight-week Spring 1 term and the eight-week Spring 2 term). A normal study load for a full-time undergraduate student consists of four courses per semester plus two summer courses. Students are expected to commit up to 40 hours per week (in and out of class) for the duration of the semester.
Undergraduate Tuition Rates, 2021-2022
Tuition fees for undergraduate programs depend on whether application is for full or part-time study.
Full-time undergraduate students for Fall and Spring Semesters:
7,695 euros flat fee per semester. This fee includes a minimum of 12 to a maximum
of 18 credit hours (flat fee). Textbooks/e-books for each course are included.
Part-time undergraduate students/ for the Summer term:
475 euros per credit hour/ 1,425 euros per 3-credit hour course, does not include
textbooks/e-books.
A student is defined as full-time if registered for a minimum of four courses (12 U.S. credit hours) and a maximum of six courses (18 U.S. credit hours) per semester. Students who require a residence permit to study in the Netherlands must be full-time degree-seeking students.
A student is considered part-time if he or she registers for fewer than four courses per semester.
Textbooks (and/or e-books) are included in the flat fee tuition fee. This flat fee does not cover the following: exceptional costs such as lab fees (100 euros) or field trips expenses, and accessories such as notebooks, pencils, etc. Please note that availability of textbooks and/or e-books at the beginning of the semester/term depends on advance registration. The late registration fee is 100 euros. Also please note that a one-time graduation petition fee (125 euros) is charged separately to graduating students.

Students are billed for each individual course in which they register. Rates per course are the same for full-time and part-time study. Please note that books for graduate courses are included in the tuition fee.
MBA
MBA students will be charged a tuition fee of 2,280 euros per 3-credit-hour course. The complete MBA program consists of twelve 3-credit courses. Depending on the studentβs background, up to three pre-MBA courses and/or a graduate English language writing course may also be required. Pre-MBA courses cost 2,280 euros each.
Management & Leadership
Students in the Management & Leadership Program will be charged a tuition fee of 2,280 euros per 3-credit-hour course. The complete MBA program consists of twelve 3-credit courses.
MA in International Relations
Students in the MA in International Relations program will be charged a tuition fee of 1,710 euros per 3-credit-hour course. The INTL program consists of twelve 3-credit courses in total.
MA in Psychology with emphasis in Counseling Psychology
Students in the Counseling Psychology program will be charged a tuition fee of 1,785 euros per 3-credit-hour course. The program consists of sixteen 3-credit courses in total.
Online Courses
Graduate-level online courses for all programs are 2,400 euros per 3-credit-hour course.

Undergraduate students registered for 12-18 credit hours per semester are considered full-time and pay flat-fee tuition. Students who require a residence permit to study in the Netherlands must be full-time degree-seeking students. Those registered for 11 credit hours or fewer are considered part-time and pay tuition at a per-credit-hour rate, which does not include textbooks/e-books. For example, a 3-credit course in 2022-2023 will cost 1,425 euros plus books.
Undergraduate students registering for courses in the Summer sessions will pay the per credit fee. For example, a 3-credit course in 2022-2023 will cost 1,425 euros plus books.

Enrollment Deposit
In order to confirm your enrollment, register for classes, and begin arrangements for any immigration process (if applicable), Webster Leiden Campus requests students to submit a confirmation deposit. The deposit amount for students are as below.

The 250 euros administrative deposit is removed from your first tuition invoice after registration.
*In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the deposit for non-EU students requiring MVV has been lowered from 10,000 euros to 8,100 euros.
- The reduced deposit minus the visa application fee of 500 euros will be refundable provided a student has obtained a visa to study in the Netherlands, but is unable to travel to the Netherlands due to Corona-related travel restrictions.
- For non-EU students not requiring an MVV, the deposit remains 1,000 euros and a student will be eligible for a refund minus the visa application fee of 500 euros under these same terms.
- In all cases, the 250 euros administrative cost will not be charged in case of withdrawal.
These changes are applicable for the Spring I, Spring II, and Fall 1 2022 terms only. This policy is subject to change. Please contact your admissions officer for more details.
